The global gag rule is a
major issue worldwide since it could endanger the lives of women across the
globe and add instability to the medical facilities on foreign countries. The
United States of America led by president Trump were the first to come forth
with this initiative. Alarmed by the possible commotion this global gag rule
caused, countries such as Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Luxemburg, Finland, Canada,
and Cape Verde have stood against this posture. Fully aware of this, the main
medical organizations depending on these funds across the globe have decided to
make peaceful protests and petition campaigns. Keeping the economical downfall
of this policy in mind, the countries mentioned above have started the global
fund support for the affected medical organizations.
